A bit about me.

Having grown up on the midcoast of South Australia, years later I now reside close to the beach on the beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula with my husband + two young children.

Art has always been a passion. After completing my schooling I then went on to study graphic design, marketing + advertising. On completion of my studies I still felt unsure of my place in this world. I coasted along until I felt this decision was somewhat taken out of my hands, events in life just kept pulling me back to my artwork and to use it as an outlet - my saving grace. I believe life has this way of putting you exactly where you need to be, though you might not know it at the time.

Inspiration for me comes in many forms whether it be a thought, an emotion felt that needs to be expressed, the world around me, my dreams - its always evolving and growing. Through my artwork I explore my love for experimenting with different mediums and textures and bringing one another together to create a cohesive flow within the painting, relating each aspect together searching for balance. With this process layers develop and grow, some are revealed some are hidden and some are still emerging. There is no beginning no ending it just is.

From painting larger scale mixed media canvases, my smaller watercolour pieces, to commissioned artworks and running the occasional watercolour workshop + class - I like to go with the flow to what I feel pulled towards to at the time.
